Dr. Shiyang Pan

Professor Shiyang Pan, chief physician, researcher and doctoral supervisor, is the director of the Department of Laboratory Medicine in Nanjing Medical University (NJMU) and the First Affiliated Hospital of NJMU. He discovered and named a new tumor marker, tumor-specific protein 70 (SP70), and developed several clinical molecular diagnostic techniques. Major contributions: Vice president of Chinese Society of Laboratory Medicine (CSLM), Honorary Chairman of Laboratory Medicine Branch of Jiangsu Medical Association, Expert of Center for Medical Device Evaluation, NMPA President of Committee of Molecular Diagnosis for Tumour(C-MDO)， Molecular Diagnosis Committee of International Federation of Clinical Chemistry (IFCC) Deputy-Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine Associate Editor of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (CCLM).
